How does TenFourHQ build a website from my DOT number?
We pull your official FMCSA record — legal name, DBA, authority status, fleet size, operation type — and prefill your site with it. You add what FMCSA can't know (equipment, lanes, where leads should go), pick your look, and publish. About 30 minutes end to end.
Is the free tier actually free?
Yes — claiming your page is free, no card required. You get a live company page at tenfourhq.com/p/your-name with your DOT/MC, authority badge, equipment, lanes, and a working quote form that sends leads to your inbox.
What is the FMCSA-Verified badge?
Proof that you control the contact email on your official FMCSA record. We send a one-time code to the address FMCSA has on file; enter it and the badge goes live. It's the same identity check broker vetting tools run — answered before it's asked.
What do the paid plans include?
Every paid plan includes your own domain (yourcompany.com), real email (name@yourcompany.com), and no TenFourHQ branding. Basic ($500/yr) is one page with tab navigation and 5 themes; Pro ($1,500/yr) adds a full multi-page site, all 29 themes matched to your brand, more mailboxes, and AI fleet imagery; Fleet ($5,000/yr) is a white-glove build with team mailboxes, multiple domains, and social autopilot. The email is the part that matters — brokers verify your email domain against your FMCSA record before they book you.
Does TenFourHQ work for freight brokers too?
Yes. We detect your authority type from your FMCSA record — carrier, broker, or both — and build the site accordingly.
Can I edit my site after it's published?
Yes — sign in with the email your leads go to (no password, we send a link) and edit your about, phone, equipment, and lanes anytime. There's also a one-click AI rewrite that works only from your real FMCSA facts.
Where do quote requests go?
Straight to your email inbox, with reply-to set to the shipper or broker who sent it — plus a leads list in your dashboard. No middleman, and TenFourHQ never takes a cut of your freight.
What happens if FMCSA has an old or agent email on my record?
You still get your site — verification just waits. We show you exactly how to update your MCS-150 (free, about 10 minutes at the FMCSA Portal); once it processes, come back and verify for the badge.
Is TenFourHQ affiliated with FMCSA?
No. FMCSA is the federal regulator and doesn't endorse third-party products. TenFourHQ builds from your public FMCSA record and independently verifies your control of the contact on it.
Can I use a domain I already own?
Connecting an existing domain is on our roadmap. Today, Pro includes a new domain registered for you — most of our carriers are starting from scratch anyway.
Why does my email domain matter so much?
Because it's the first identity check in broker vetting - a free Gmail can't prove company affiliation, while an email at your own domain can be matched against your company and your FMCSA record. It's the difference between clearing vetting in 30 seconds and getting passed over.
What's TenFourHQ's angle — do you sell my data or take a cut of loads?
Neither. TenFourHQ is a software subscription — free to claim your page, then $500–$5,000/year for the paid tiers. Your leads are yours, your data is yours, and we don't broker freight.
